Limestone is an essential component to ensure the success of many of your fruits, vegetables and flower gardens. Additionally, it helps lower the acidity of alkaline soils and balance out the pH healthy plants need.
22% Calcium, 12% Magnesium
Both are essential for Tomatoes and Peppers, as well as other Vegetables to help prevent blossom end rot and grow stronger plants! !
Just mix a palm full (few tablespoons) into the soil in the bottom of your planting hole for each plant with your other fertilizers.
We have been using this product and our 10-10-10 fertilizer (see other listings) with great success for several years now in our container vegetable garden. Our largest "big beef" tomato was over 18 ounces last year! They are generally only supposed to get to about 12oz, so that was a nice surprise for us!
You will receive 10+lbs of this crushed limestone (from a larger bulk bag) in a sealed and well packaged bag. You will not be receiving original retail packaging.
